Joe Finstrom is a Minneapolis based songwriter, musician and audio engineer. His most recent project is a folk inspired EP with americana and grunge influences. As a songwriter Joe is inspired by experiences rooted in personal connection brought to life in music through the lens of growth and understanding. Musically he draws from a wide variety of styles and genres from popular to classical. As a cellist and bass player Joe has been involved in bands and orchestras in the area since 2006. He also released an indie-pop record in 2022 under the name Vincent van Beethoven which was played on national indie radio and received positive reviews. As an audio engineer Joe has worked freelance and is also the owner of Peachy Gnome, a local audio studio. He also teaches private music lessons at Music Lab in South Minneapolis.
