Jacob Mullis is an art-pop singer-songwriter whose sound is shaped by a rich history of musical collaboration and exploration. With roots in the vibrant Twin Cities music scene, Jacob has lent his talents to a range of acclaimed bands, including the art-pop duo Fort Wilson Riot, the synth-driven Solid Gold, the dynamic chamber-pop of Champagne Confetti, and the indie-americana of Brandt, Hager, Mullis, & Carranza. Each collaboration has shaped his artistic voice, blending introspective lyrics, heartfelt melodies, and a dynamic mix of indie rock, folk, and experimental pop. With his first album, New Electric Medicine, Jacob delivers a collection of solo work that captures both a sense of freedom and vulnerability. Whether crafting reflective ballads or exploring more experimental territories he is dedicated to crafting music that is honest, evocative, and uniquely his own.
