The band’s lean, melodic and abrasive style is influenced by the members' collective histories in the Twin Cities music scene and the socio-political climate of the mid-2020s. Institutional Green is an original rock trio based in St. Paul Minnesota. Featuring Dan Leary on vocals and electric bass, Kevin Henretta on electric guitar and Billy Dankert on vocals and electric drums-kidding just normal drums-Institutional Green blends imaginative lyrics and catchy hooks into an heartland indie rock hot dish that'll have ya coming back for seconds. They Dead is a three-piece band from Minneapolis made up of singer/guitarist Bryan Knisley (Push On Junior, Moon Maan), drummer Ian Prince (Story of the Sea, Houston) and bassist Kate Clements (Moon Maan, Dynamo Hum). After a brief hiatus, the band is back in their beloved hometown, trading their original four-piece structure for a leaner, more abrasive sound.
