Jaspar Lepak Album Release Concert: We Are All Travelers Here

Out November 6, the album will be performed in full by the studio band that brought it to life: Ben Cook-Feltz on piano, percussion, and harmonies; Andy Schuster on bass; DGS on violin; and Haley E. Rydell on harmonies, with special guest Peter Remiger on electric guitar. Over two sets, Jaspar will share stories from the making of the record, while the band members step into the spotlight with original songs of their own. Two sets. The whole album. Jaspar Lepak (pronounced JAS-per LEE-pack) is a Minneapolis singer-songwriter known for her clear, pure voice, bravely honest songs, and deep attention to the natural world. Originally from Tucson, she studied classical piano and literature in the Twin Cities before discovering songwriting on guitar after college. Her music has followed her from Minneapolis to Durban, South Africa—where she recorded Forgiving Wind, praised by Rolling Stone South Africa as “full of beauty and original charm”—to Seattle and back to Minnesota. Her 2021 album Desert Ghosts reached the Top 10 on the Folk Radio Chart, followed by 2024’s So Strong, which debuted at #6. Her songs have been featured by the Yale School of Medicine, Democracy Now!, and Christine Lavin’s The Seasons Project, reflecting a body of work that is tender, deeply observant, and sometimes playfully defiant.
