His 2021 release Small Wonders earned a 4-star review from DownBeat Magazine and landed on its Best Albums of the Year list. His latest albums have also drawn critical acclaim. Jazzwise Magazine praised his compositions on Chasing Shadows for “exploring the kind of big-sky generous melodicism pioneered by artists like Pat Metheny and Gary Burton,” noting that “his timing and articulation are beyond reproach and his imagination extensive.” Bryan Murray - tenor saxophone Bryan Nichols - piano Dan Carpel - bass Pete James Johnson - drums Zacc Harris - guitar
