★ crawl space - IE’s October residency offers a Sunday escape into hypnotic drone, slowly unfolding grooves, and psychedelic soundscapes. This week pairs the Minneapolis group with Little Obsessions’ vulnerable, keyboard-driven psychedelic synth-pop and LXD’s cinematic piano, cello, guitar, and tape-loop experiments. A strong pick for adventurous listeners who enjoy getting absorbed in atmosphere. For fans of: Brian Eno for immersive ambience; Stereolab for repetitive psychedelic grooves; Animal Collective for Little Obsessions’ playful pop experiments; Grouper for the bill’s hazy intimacy.
